BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 2+ years of corrosion control, painting, or sandblasting experience in an industrial environment
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ years of industrial painting experience
- Familiarity with the National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE), material safety data sheet (MSDS), and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulation codes or industry standards
- Understanding of heavy equipment safety standards
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
- Experience working at a rocket launch facility and supporting launch campaigns
- Self-motivated individual able to work independently or in a team environment and willing to learn
- Ability to work under little or no supervision
- Ability to assume responsibility, work with little or no supervision and handle multiple tasks under potentially stressful conditions
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be available for overtime and weekends as the schedule varies depending on site operational needs; flexibility is required
- Typically exposed to work in extreme outdoor environments- heat, cold, rain
- Ability to perform job duties that require standing, kneeling, crouching, twisting upper body, and lifting (up to 25 lbs. unassisted) and able to work on ladders/lifts at elevated heights with proper PPE (up to 300 feet)

Pay range:
Corrosion Control Technician/Level 1: $20.00/hour
Corrosion Control Technician/Level 2: $23.00/hour
Corrosion Control Technician/Level 3: $27.00/hour
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
