SUMMARY
The individual in this role should be able to perform all custodial functions in all areas of the facilities and have the ability to work independently.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform all housekeeping / custodial functions.
- Clean restrooms, break rooms, kitchens and other common areas.
- Vacuum carpets, dust, remove all trash, etc.
- Replenish supplies including soap, toilet tissue, and paper towels, as needed.
- Reordering of supplies as needed.
- Operate floor scrubbers and buffers.
- Dust furniture, walls, machines or equipment.
- Move heavy furniture, equipment or supplies manually or using hand-trucks.
- Set up, arrange or remove decorations, tables, chairs to prepare facilities for events.
- Assist the facilities maintenance team.
- Maintain good employee relations.
- Follow written and verbal instructions.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment in accordance with company standards.
- Complete initial / recurrent training requirements in a timely manner.
- Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the minimum knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent reading, writing and math abilities.
- 5+ years related experience and / or training preferred.
- Ability to work independently or as a member of a team.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task.
- Ability and willingness to work extended hours, when needed.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their usage.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Read, write, and understand the English language.

- Occasional travel may be required; the employee filling this position must be willing to travel on short notice and possibly for extended periods.
