As a Data Scientist II here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for leveraging advanced analytics and data science techniques to drive insights and innovation. You will play a key role in developing and implementing data-driven solutions that optimize business processes and drive strategic decision-making. You will report directly to our Director of Data Science, and youll work out of our Mason, OH or Charlotte, NC location on a hybrid work schedule.

Hybrid Work Schedule Note: For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100 onsite M-F. 

In this role, you will impact the organization by utilizing your expertise in data science to drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Apply advanced analytics and data science techniques to solve complex business problems
• Develop predictive models and algorithms to drive actionable insights
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for data-driven solutions
• Design and implement experiments to test hypotheses and validate models

YOU MUST HAVE
• Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Analytics, Engineering, etc.)
• 3+ years of experience in data science or a related field
• Strong proficiency in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

• Masters degree or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, or Computer Science
• Experience with big data technologies and distributed computing frameworks
