General purpose:

Within the Export Control department in a team of 15 persons who supports all activities of Airbus Helicopters to support them while respecting the applicable export control regulations. This position is located in Marignane, France. It may include travels in France and in other countries.
In the context of Airbus Helicopters&39; policy on export control regulations, the Export Control Manager contributes to the compliance of tangible and intangible flows (all types of transactions: purchases, sales, repairs, exchanges, loans, transfers and storage of goods and data). Reporting to the HO Export Control France (LOEHF), the ECM is responsible for the continuous improvement of processes and the consolidation of associated procedures.
Main Responsibilities
You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with export control regulations and, more specifically, providing support to the team in charge of releasing flows (industrial flows, spare parts, repairs and helicopters).
- Release of flows in SAP after identification of the applicable authorizations;
- Pre-analysis and preparation of all documentation required for helicopter deliveries from France (in charge of all the deliveries under the French and the European export control regulations);
- Extraction and analysis of flows (sampling verification and KPIs);
- Consolidation and verification of reports to be submitted to the French government;
- Customs interface for french export licence issues;
- Perform all mandatory export control actions: implementing import and export controls, archiving the various documents in accordance with the regulatory provisions, ensure that procedures are implemented within the business and verify their application at operational level, etc.
Required Educational Background and Experience
Min 3 years of experience working in a multinational environment;
Business acumen and ethical behaviour in a heavily regulated business environment;
Knowledge of logistics or transport departments;
Knowledge of SAP;
Leadership and communication skills; sound business judgment; ability to appropriately involve others in consultations and decisions;
Writing skills required to write and edit policies and procedures, reports and memorandums;
Strong relationship building, networking, interpersonal and communication skills;
High degree of initiative, credibility, independence, integrity, confidentiality and trust;
Ability to quickly earn the respect of senior management in order to be credible and effective in this complex and constantly-developing environment,
Languages: Commercially fluent in English and French; German is considered a plus.
