PDS Tech Commercial is Partnering with a Leader in the Manufacturing Industry to hire a Facilities Support Specialist to join our team and support a premier manufacturing partner. In this role, you’ll help create and maintain a spotless, organized, and welcoming environment for employees and visitors alike. Your work directly supports operational excellence and reinforces a culture of professionalism, safety, and pride in the workplace.
Please note: This position operates within a clean room environment. Candidates must understand that perfumes, colognes, and fragrances are not permitted while on-site.
Your Impact
As a Facilities Support Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the appearance, safety, and functionality of our facility. By ensuring every area is clean, well-stocked, and properly maintained, you help create an atmosphere where employees can perform their best and guests feel confident in the organization’s standards.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Clean and maintain designated areas of the facility daily, including lobbies, restrooms, offices, conference rooms, lunchrooms, and public spaces.
Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, polishing, carpet shampooing, window washing, and trash removal.
Wax floors weekly or as needed to maintain a polished, professional appearance.
Maintain and restock cleanrooms, storage areas, and restrooms with necessary supplies.
Inspect public areas daily for potential safety hazards and promptly report concerns to the Facilities Manager.
Ensure all doors, windows, entrances, and exits are securely closed and locked at the end of your shift.
Complete assignments efficiently with minimal supervision while maintaining high quality standards.
Operate janitorial equipment, including automated floor scrubbers (training provided if needed).
Required Qualifications
Strong sense of hospitality, integrity, and pride in your work
A passion for cleanliness, organization, and maintaining high standards
Exceptional attention to detail, even in the smallest tasks
Ability to take initiative and complete tasks independently
Experience operating janitorial equipment
Basic computer skills or the ability to quickly learn facility software systems
Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Familiarity with current OSHA safety regulations
Experience with basic building maintenance or minor repairs

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
