Job Outline
To provide comprehensive HR Business Support to France Area Manager and Senior HR Business Partner Southern and Western Europe in the areas of Recruitment/Selection, Manpower Control, Remuneration, Staff Development, Employee Performance Matters, Works Council and Union Relations.
Job Accountabilities
- Assist in providing a comprehensive Human Resources service in the areas of recruitment, retention and development of staff ensuring that these practices conform with Company’s business objectives.
- Ensure all relevant documents are raised and actioned promptly in matters relating to recruitment and selection.
- Arrange and conduct timely and cost-effective recruitment campaigns to meet the established staffing levels in the designated areas, ensuring a consistent standard of high caliber staff.
- In collaboration with France Area Manager, advise and give guidance to Line managers and staff on all aspects relating to Employee relations, Company policies, Health & Safety and employment Legislation and employees’ satisfaction and motivation.
- Support the Performance Matters process by ensuring all Line Managers are effectively implementing the PM Reviews of their staff on time. Ensure that the effectiveness of Performance Matters is monitored and reported to France Area Manager & Senior HR Business Partner Southern and Western Europe, and that PM reviews are opened and closed on time.
- In partnership with France Area Manager, assist Line Managers in future development of their staff, by recommending training courses, on the job development and other relevant development opportunities as appropriate.
- Welcome new staff and conduct the Corporate Induction Programme and PM training for them.
- Advise and participate in disciplinary and grievance interviews to ensure equitable treatment of staff and proper documentation of such matters.
- In collaboration with France Area Manager, prepare and participate in Works Council meetings and participate to Annual negotiations with Trade Unions.
- Work efficiently and collaboratively with Finance department on HR related payroll topics.
- To provide statistical data to Senior HR Business Partner Southern and Western Europe as and when required.
- Be actively involved in the deployment and delivery of HR people initiatives and projects. Contribute towards improvement of processes and practices to enhance productivity within departments based on local legislation and best practice. This will involve researching and drafting amendments to HR process, highlighting discrepancies, identifying loopholes and ambiguities.
- Participate as a team member in Corporate HR based projects and contribute towards developing new HR products, improved processes and systems that will enable HR to be more customer service orientated and progressive.
