Position Summary:

The HR Operations Specialist works closely with the Manager – HR Operations and is responsible for successful delivery of standardized HR Services and process across the country. The role encompasses executing relevant initiatives covering the employee lifecycle, collating, managing and publishing data and adhering to compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

On boarding 

  • Salary preparation and offer generation in line with guidelines from CHRM.
  • Secure all necessary formalities pre and post joining are completed in a timely manner. 
  • Manage the induction program for new joiners along with respective BU/Div/Location HR colleagues to facilitate smooth integration into Parker Hannifin India. 

 

Rewards, Statutory Benefits & Policy Administration 

  • Provide accurate and timely inputs to payroll vendor and FSU for payroll processing.
  • Support in resolve payroll-related inquiries and issues promptly.
  • Support employees with clarification in interpreting policies. 
  • Benefits administration
    • Manage enrollment and termination of employees in required statutory benefit schemes. 
    • Communicate, implement, and administer employee benefits programs as per policies, including health/insurance and retirement benefits.
    • Work with service provider and Total Rewards CoE to secure competitive premium rates for insurance. 
    • Ensuring compliance regulations governing employee benefit programs. 
    • Manage off boarding including PF, Gratuity, Superannuation payouts as applicable in line with policies. 

Data Management and reporting 

  • Timely update of changes/updates in the employment status (digital and/or physical records)
  • Track and report key HR metrics such as attrition, Female candidate slate, Diversity, etc

Other responsibilities, but not limited to include: 

  • Adhere to and improve KPIs and SLAs for all processes.
  • Participate in internal and/or external audits as necessary.
  • Identify and execute opportunities to expand service activities based on stakeholder feedback.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Excellent work ethics - Demonstrate a high degree of integrity and discernment in dealing with and maintaining confidential data/ information/ sensitive records.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and other relevant employee regulations 
  • Advanced communication (verbal, written and listening) skills to communicate at different levels with internal and external stakeholders including government authorities.
  • Work independently with limited supervision, and possess strong initiative, exercise independent judgment within established systems and procedures.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and flexibility to reprioritize tasks in response to unexpected changes in priorities or processes.
  • Ability to effectively work with teams remotely and the ability to adjust communication style for different situations and cultures.
  • Possess organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize, be detail oriented and results driven.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

Education/Experience:

  • Post Graduate Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related major in a public or accredited private academic institution required.
  • Possess 7-10 years of relevant experience with a focus on HR Shared Services.
  • Working knowledge of SAP Success Factors, People Soft and other ERPs
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel (macros, pivot tables, lookup functions, etc.), PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook.
