TITLE: Injection Press Operator REPORTS TO: Injection Area Supervisor
Job Description:
Responsible for safely and properly performing the wax injection operation. Will conduct visual inspection of wax patterns to identify defects and maintain an acceptable level of quality.
Responsibilities:
- Follow customer work instructions to properly operate the tools
- Follow internal work instructions to verify machine settings
- Visually inspects wax patterns to ensure customer requirements are met
- Accurately report daily production quantities
- Communicate any issues/defects to supervision
- Follow all safety and 6-S guidelines for the area
Physical and Mental Demands:
- Ability to move between multiple machines while maintaining safety and quality
- Constant use of both upper extremities
- Physical ability to handle various injection tools on a press
- Will need to stand/walk for 8+ hours a day
- Will need to operate heavy machinery
- Reach/handle activities at various levels: knee, waist, shoulder, overhead
