We are on the lookout for an experienced Payments Clerk to join our team on a permanent basis
As the first point of contact for supplier enquiries, you will provide exceptional help-desk support in the accounts payable space. You will handle thousands of queries globally each month via phone and email, troubleshooting payment issues with ease. With a variety of tasks to keep you engaged, youll work alongside a collaborative team that values your enthusiastic attitude and continuous improvement mindset.
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Advanced Excel skills
- A solid understanding of the finance functions of ERP systems
- Commercial experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar
- The ability to quickly adapt to new systems
- A customer service mindset and keen attention to detail
Key responsibilities and personal attributes:
- Deliver exceptional Customer Service
- Provide training and support for Accounts Payable and Supply Chain systems users
- Effectively manage vendor accounts
- Remain unflappable under pressure with outstanding initiative, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Work independently and be driven to achieve team targets
- Handle significant volumes of data while managing multiple priorities and high expectations
