JOB OBJECTIVE
The Aviation Records Administrator is responsible for maintaining accurate, organized, and compliant records related to aircraft maintenance, inspections, and operational documentation. This role ensures that all aviation records meet regulatory standards and support safe, efficient aircraft operations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Record Management: Maintain and update aircraft maintenance logs, inspection reports, airworthiness directives, and service bulletins.
- Compliance Oversight: Ensure all documentation complies with FAA regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Audit Preparation: Prepare records for internal and external audits; support regulatory inspections and reviews.
- Maintenance Tracking: Monitor scheduled maintenance intervals and ensure timely documentation of completed work.
- Data Entry & Reporting: Input data into maintenance tracking systems and generate reports for management and regulator bodies
- Coordination: Collaborate with maintenance teams, quality assurance, and flight operations to ensure seamless documentation flow.
- Document Control: Manage digital and physical records, including archiving, retrieval, and secure storage.
SUPERVISED POSITIONS:
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in aviation management or related field preferred)
- Strong understanding of aviation terminology and maintenance procedures
- Proficiency in aviation recordkeeping systems preferred
- Familiarity with FAA regulations and aircraft documentation requirements
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Sitting, Walking, standing, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, kneeling, squatting for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds or more

WORK STATUS, SCHEDULE, TRAVEL
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- 5/8 or 4/10 work schedule available after training and evaluation
- Overtime necessary depending on workload
