Job Profile: Shipping/Receiving – Level 1-2
Position Summary:
Prepare finished cores for shipment to local, national, and international customers. Assemble product according to procedure, enter data into computer and create shipping documentation. Deliver parts to plants in Northeast Ohio using company-owned truck.
Essential Functions:
- Follow written procedures as instructed
- Sort finished cores by FR, and by mix lot if needed
- Enter serial numbers into computer. Check for exceptions using stored data and scrap out cores as needed
- Generate shipping documentation, and close out internal routers
- Must visually inspect and verify product count and documentation
- Pack cores according to procedure
- Ability to verify deliveries and receive in Siteline
- Must troubleshoot issues and errors
- Truck runs to various locations several times a day
- Meet department productivity and yield standards
- Must follow and adhere to all safety procedures
- Maintain department standards for housekeeping/6S
- Other duties as assigned by supervision
Required Skills:
- Must have good interpersonal skills for dealing with customers and internal employees
- Must be detail oriented
- Must be a team player
- Must have valid Drivers’ License and acceptable driving record for Company Drivers Policy
- Must be able to lift 35lbs on a regular basis
