You will report directly to our Director of Strategic Sourcing and you’ll work out of our China (Shanghai) (or defined locations) location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the company by driving cost savings through effective RFQ execution and negotiation with strategic transportation partners. If you have working experience in supplier management and logistics sector, as well as executing strategic long-term agreements (Master Service Agreements) and you would like to take this experience further, this role will give you the opportunity to take your skills to the next level and build a solid procurement base with key Transportation and Logistics (T&L) partners, positioning Honeywell Aerospace well in support of its planned double digits growth for the next decade.

• Gather business requirements from our suppliers or end customers and Honeywell Aerospace manufacturing sites;
• Structure business requirements on comprehensive T&L data sets;
• Partner with (T&L) category leaders to process RFI and RFQs in support to business requirements;
• Support spanet research and benchspan transportation costs;
• Support the creation and execution of sourcing strategies for each mode of transport;
• Optimize costs vs. Service and delivery performance. 
• Evaluate suppliers to identify strategic suppliers and drive value based partnerships;
• Support supplier negotiations while managing service contracts to ensure favorable terms and conditions.

• 5+ years of experience in Procurement or Supply Chain Transportation or Business/Finance analytics related to Logistics.
• Strong negotiation skills and processes.
• Ability to independently lead multiple projects simultaneously while managing different stakeholders in the assigned region.
• Experience with transportation and logistics sector.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, or Technical discipline (Supply chain certification(s));

• Experience with aerospace technologies, defense or controlled exports or similar industry;
• Proficiency in SAP (or similar ERPs) and procurement systems.
• Experience with executing service agreements and managing contracts and rate agreements (i.e. Ability to negotiate terms and conditions);
• Previous experience in driving down cost of Transportation as a of COGS 
• Continuous improvement mindset (Six Sigma, A3, methodologies) and project organization (PMP);
• Experience with International Transportation and logistics certifications (APICS, CSCP, etc.) is a plus;
