This Corporate Pilot position operates company-owned aircraft to transport company executives, employees, and customers in a safe, efficient, and professional manner. The Corporate Pilot ensures all flight operations meet or exceed applicable federal regulations and company standards. This role is responsible for delivering a high level of customer service, reflecting the organization’s culture of safety, professionalism, and discretion. The pilot will serve as Pilot in Command (PIC) or Second in Command (SIC) as required and must consistently demonstrate sound judgment, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Duties Include:
- Serve as Pilot in Command or Second in Command for all assigned flights, operating in compliance with FAA regulations and company flight operations manuals.
- Evaluate and execute daily flight needs, including responding to unexpected conditions or emergencies and securing the aircraft post-flight.
- Conduct thorough pre-flight planning, including but not limited to weather analysis, weight and balance calculations, and route optimization.
- Ensure full compliance with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), TSA regulations, and company-specific flight standards.
- Complete all aircraft inspections using pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight checklists and documentation procedures.
- Coordinate with maintenance personnel to verify the aircraft is flight-ready; report and document any discrepancies or maintenance issues.
- Maintain required pilot certifications and applicable training in accordance with FAA requirements and company policies.
- Identify and implement industry best practices in flight safety, service, and operations.
- Arrange for onboard passenger accommodations including refreshments and comfort supplies.
- Coordinate with ground transportation providers to ensure seamless travel for passengers.
