Job Description:

Tasks

The candidate will provide technical support for computer systems, hardware and software, and prioritize and manage IT support activities to ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests while balancing project requirements and business priorities.

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Windows operating systems.
  • Manage, configure, and maintain Active Directory, Group Policy, and other Windows-based services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve IT issues and improve system performance.
  • Assist in software deployment, updates, and security patches. 
  • Provide end-user support, including hardware troubleshooting, network connectivity issues, and software-related queries.
  • Experience in virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V or VMware.
  • Understand customer demands with the possible technical implementations of an application package.
  • Prioritize requirements based on criticality, business needs and technical feasibility
  • Document issues, resolutions, and processes in a clear and organized manner.

Requirements

  • University Degree in Engineering/ (business) informatics or equivalent knowledge and skills acquired in many years of relevant professional experience and further training measures.
  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft Exchange.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft scripting and PowerShell.
  • Very good communication behavior as well as high service and customer orientation.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Very good English skills, German skills preferred.
