Job Description:

Tasks

  • Interface to Customer Engineering teams within EMEA with frequent interaction within this matrix organization
  • Represent Customer Engineering team for the inquiries from component customers within EMEA
  • Maintain & expand good working relationship with technical departments at airline customers
  • Explain Lufthansa Technik practices to external customers (approvals, rogue unit process, certifications etc.) and represent customer demands within the organization
  • Travel to customer sites for technical discussions and solutions
  • Assist customers with internal challenges
  • Coordinate with other teams as part of the EMEA customer engineering team
  • Mediate between EMEA customers and Lufthansa Technik
  • Prepare and present technical presentations, support documentation and reviews
  • Collect customer feedback to identify process weaknesses
  • Provide technical support for customer service, sales, and contracts
  • Evaluate MRO spanet trends and offer insights
  • Participate in international projects, supporting value-added services and ideation
  • Launch internal campaigns on key topics (e.g. Reliability Engineering)

Requirements

  • University or technical college degree in Engineering, Aircraft/Aeronautical Engineering or Electronics and Electrical Engineering
  • Working experience with global regions and stake holders
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in component overhaul, aircraft maintenance, reliability, and technical services; certified Design/Verification Engineer preferred
  • Experience in Part-145, CAMO, Part 21J Organization is a plus
  • Advanced MS Excel, Macros, automation, and presentation skills required; SAP experience preferred
  • Good knowledge of spanet environment, competitors, and customer needs
  • Willingness to travel
  • Fluent in English; German is a plus
  • Strong intercultural competence, service orientation, and creativity
  • Team player with strong analytical, multitasking, and stress resistance skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and assertiveness
  • Open to professional development
