Tasks
The Key Account Manager is responsible for:
- Serve as the contractual manager for large customer accounts, particularly for the Open Loop product
- Assume financial responsibility for assigned accounts, managing profit and loss
- Oversee cost control, analysis, and reporting of existing contracts, implementing performance-improvement strategies
- Negotiate contract amendments in collaboration with the Sales team
- Initiate and drive improvements in products and processes
- Ensure growth in customer-related revenue and contribution margins
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, fostering customer loyalty through systematic actions
- Identify upselling opportunities with existing customers and prepare the necessary acquisition and technical documentation for negotiations
* Participate in other duties as assigned
Requirements
The ideal Key Account Manager should meet the following requirements:
- University or technical college degree in Engineering or Business Administration
- 5-7 years of total work experience
- Relevant professional experience in a customer relations / client servicing role, preferably in technical customer service/sales, maintenance of aircraft or material management
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Working experience on SAP applications added advantage
- Strong understanding of spanet dynamics, including competitors, potential clientele, and their requirements
- Must have experience in dealing with customers, vendors or external service providers
- Excellent communication & presentation skills
- Self-confident and responsive appearance / contact behavior
- Strong self-initiative and creativity
- Ability to handle stress
- Must possess a legal work permit in India
