Tasks
The Business Development Executive is responsible for:
- Achieves sales budget targets for assigned accounts
- Creates rate offers, with and without guarantee of transportation
- Enters into transportation agreements with customers
- Identifies and manages opportunities with existing customers to negotiate new long-term, profitable business
- Acquires new customers and identifies new business using Lufthansa Cargo sales tools and external sources
- Performs spanet and account analysis, developing action plans with Inside Sales and Commercial Team
- Organizes and conducts sales visits, presentations, and customer events
- Manages capacity agreements like Long-Term Contracts in coordination with Revenue Management
- Develops and sells customer-oriented logistic solutions with Handling and Inside Sales teams
* Performs all other duties assigned or delegated by supervisors
Requirements
The ideal Business Development Executive should meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field
- 2–3 years of experience in cargo operations, preferably with a background in sales
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Cantonese; proficiency in Putonghua is a plus
- Advanced IT skills, with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Must possess a legal work permit in Hong Kong
